Gas Flaring Reduction
The project, initiated by the Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Ltd (SPDC) achieved first oil and gas in June 2010 with 200 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscf/d).
- The project will help reduce gas flaring from nearby fields
- Provide natural gas and oil for export
- Provide gas for electricity generation
